All products has been manufactured, inspected and tested
in accordance with the quality control systems in place at Advance Welding.
All products have been calibrated using equipment that is traceable to
national and international standards through a NAMAS laboratory.
The National Accreditation of Measurement And Sampling
(NAMAS) is a service of the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
Electrical products have a TWELVE month calibration period, active from
the first use by the customer.
Mechanical products have a SIX month calibration period, active from
the first use by the customer.
The welding units store the calibration date in memory
and remind the operator for thirty days before the calibration period expires.
Each day a message wil be shown stating how many days of calibration are left.
When the calibration period expires, the welding unit can be set to lock
and stop operating, or to display a warning message but continue to weld.
The calibration period can be set to the standard 12 month period, or to
a specific period between 1 month and 99 months. This must be done by an
authorised repair agent.
When equipment requires calibrating, it should be returned
to Advance Welding or one of their Distributor Partners.
